Smokehouse.
When the farmer went to visit Texas and Argentina we knew that good things were coming. Texan Smokehouse and Argentinian Asado cooking lends itself beautifully to our farm produce so in 2022 we invested in three American style pit smokers.
The basis of this menu is low and slow cooking with large cuts of British grass fed meat seasoned in our house rubs, marinated and cooked overnight.
Family Style.
Our family style menu is all about conversation and sharing. Sharing courses are served to the table for guests to dish up with seasonal platters and pulled cuts of meat.
The Barn on The Bay is based on a traditional family farm that has been in the family for six generations. We produce food with incredible flavour that reflects our pastoral coast location with our core values at heart; as local as possible, ethically produced and seasonal. Following flexitarian principles we put as much effort into our vegetarian and vegan dishes as we do our meat based dishes, after all, our farm is a delicate balance of animal and plant.
Evening.
Our high quality, locally sourced and seasonally produced ingredients follow through into our evening menu.

From welcome drinks to table and toasting wine you’ll be able to personalise your drinks package to suit your taste and food.
Lots of beer drinkers? Add a ‘Pull Your Own’ beer station, have a personalised cocktail made by our bar team, or add a gin, tequila, rum or whisky bar to your reception.
